According to github: You just download the zip file and uncompress, and close your windows QT wallet fully, and click start_mining.cmd go to the site and download the 4th one htmlcoind-2.0.0.3-win32.zip or click this link below to download the file uncompress Read the README file and follow the instruction. According to the README: Run htmlcoind.exe from the command prompt and then use htmlcoin-cli.exe to access the RPC commands. Before running the batch file close the HTMLCOIN-Qt client first, once that is fully stopped double check the start_mining.cmd file to start mining. Press CTRL + C to terminate the mining script and run stop_htmlcoind.cmd to stop htmlcoind running.

Has anyone been able to make this work? Whenever I open htmlcoin-cli and htmlcoin-tx it automatically closes. However I am able to start htmlcoind and start_mining then see a mining loop initiate. But is it working? How does it know to deposit mined coines in my wallet? Hi there, I am the one who wrote the FAQ:D and what you want to do is to open up the start_mining code with your NotePad.

And go look at the line where it says 'generate 1' change that to generate 17 and save and try to run it again. Then you will be able to see the process go about every 20 seconds or so. Make sure to sync your wallet fully, and then close your GUI wallet before you start this process. Let me know how it goes!

A lot of people use this mining, but for some reason, people say it mines less than the GUI wallet. I have linux version running, and that actually mined the most for me. So, I think the result varies. Which ever you think you think mining more, you can stick with either CLI or GUI mining!:-) You can play with that command I told you. You can change it to generatetoaddress 100 YOUR-ADDRESS 77777777 then your mined coins will be sent to your address. Hope this helps! The difficulty is rising and it is definitely getting tougher to mine HTML coins with CPU.

I will say that you can get the most affordable computer and mine this until the external ASIC mining becomes available. If I were you, I would not spend any money on getting a new computer just to mine the coin since CPU mining will be useless as soon as the ASIC mining opens up! Seems like people with i7 benefits the most. I am running 6 wallets from MacBook Pro and MacBook and raspberry pi3. MacBook Pro has virtual box running and I am running two scripts from VM Linux.

Interestingly, I mine more on my crappy VM than any other wallets right now:D. I haven't seen raspberry pi3 mined for a very long time! Hope that helps! • • • • • • •.
